Description
Rustic and unique cabin in a quiet wooded neighborhood by the sea. The space Our cabin was originally built by George as a love letter to his wife June. June was an accomplished artist and active in the Lund arts scene, hosting parties and art shows. The lower floor of the cabin served as the gallery while the open upper floor with excellent light served as her studio. In 2019, we brought water and plumbing to the studio and built the bathroom and kitchen. The cabin otherwise remains much the same as when it was built by George in the 1970's. Two-story cabin, downstairs a well-equipped kitchen and dining area with a laundry nook and a large bathroom with soaker tub. Upstairs a loft space - queen bed to one side and living area with tv, games and books to the other side. Spacious and airy. Couch in living room is a suitable sleeper for children - . No closed bedrooms. Guest access the property has a large camp fire pit (fires in campfire season ONLY) and a 12' trampoline for kids. our chicken Coop's fence is electrified so best to steer clear and to discourage kids from that end of the yard. watching the hens from a safe distance is A-OK! Other things to note We live in a house on the property, but we can't see or hear the cabin from our house. We are careful to give our guests as much privacy as possible. We have very busy lives so you may see us coming and going from the semi-shared driveway or collecting eggs from the coop occasionally. Feel free to ignore us or wave hello - either is fine!
