Your dream lake vacation starts now. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath private guest suite is your perfect lakeside getaway for your next family vacation, girls trip and even a guys (fishing) weekend! One room has a queen-sized bed. The second room has a full/twin bunkbed with a twin trundle bed. Each bed comes with appropriate linens and extra blankets and linens are located in the hall closet. Bathroom has a tub and shower as well as luxurious heated floors. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need for meals including a large fridge and freezer, electric range and oven, microwave, coffee pot and Keurig as well as a propane grill located on the patio. Sit down for meals at our large farmhouse table that seats everyone. The private patio has seating for all plus additional chairs for relaxing. Feel free to take the kayaks out for a spin or use one of the many floats off the dock. After a long day on the lake, take a load off in the living room and watch a movie on our Roku-equipped TV Or sit around a campfire in the lakeside fire pit. This is a fisherman’s paradise. There’s room at our dock for your boat. Also plenty of parking space for your trailer on site. There are two boat launches (Carter’s Ferry and Crawford’s Ferry) within five miles. ***Please note this is a shared property with dogs (friendly) on the property therefore we do not allow any pets including service animals. Guests have access to the rental suite minus the two locked rooms on that level. Full access to the patio, yard and dock. Plenty of parking is available on the driveway including room for your boat trailer if necessary. We live on the property along with two friendly weimaraners that would love to interact with guests but are perfectly happy sleeping all day. They also enjoy swimming. They do not roam freely on the property. We often travel so we may or may not be around but neighbors and friends are available should you contact us for any reason. A neighborhood gas station plus small grocery convenience store is within 4 miles as well a Dollar General aprox 6 miles away. Downtown Hartwell is aprox 10 miles. In that area is a CVS, a few supermarkets and a Walmart supercenter is about 13 miles. There are limited Ubers/Lyfts so be prepared to drive your own vehicle or boat :-) There are plenty of delicious local restaurants both on and off the lake, plus opportunities to rent boats or book fishing charters. Two boat launches are close by and space is available to tie up right at the dock.
