Ahwatukee Resort-like Guest Suite!

Fab guest suite in Ahwatukee upscale neighborhood! Spacious suite is attached but separate from main house with it's private entry and patio. One large bedroom with king sized bed, bath, huge great room with stunning kitchen, views of the garden and pool. Close to freeways, airport, S. Mountain, Tempe/Chandler, restaurants, dining & family-friendly activities. Easy access to downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, and other valley cities. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families. The space This addition was conceived as separate and independent living quarters for in-laws, guests or tenants. The large 1-bedroom and bath suite is over 1200 sq.ft. Large bedroom with king sized bed. Great room has full kitchen with island, living & dining areas. We recommend our guests bring their own streaming stick (easier than signing in and out of our smart TV's apps). Twin size futon in great room provides an additional sleeping option. Upon request, we can also provide a Pack'n'Play crib. Charming private patio area with bbq. Shared resort-like backyard with awesome diving pool. Note that the pool is NOT HEATED in winter, the pool is normally too cold to swim for most of us from late Oct through April. The pool is huge and the cost to keep heated in the winter would be prohibitive - we would have to at least double our rates. Off street parking in driveway. One block to South Mountain Park for lovely walks, hiking and mountain biking. There are 3 steps going down into the side yard leading to the guest apartment, and 3 steps to the front door, with no railing. Only 3 steps down, and 3 up, but for safety reasons, not recommended for those who have difficulty with steps or have mobility issues. Note: We live in the main house. Because of allergies in the family, we're unable to accept any animals on our property. We often have guests that have expressed appreciation for this, because of their own allergies. Guest access This is an independent unit attached to the main house on a large custom lot. My wife and I live in the main house. So while guests have the entire guest suite, we are right next door. We share a wall with our guest suite, but there is no interior access. The suite is so private, we never see our guests come and go! The free standing pool casita is also available for short term stays on a separate listing. Guests will have their space and total privacy. Laundry facility available to guests is accessible from the outside. Other things to note Guests staying over 4 weeks are required to pay for additional bi-weekly cleaning (every 2 weeks, at $80 per cleaning). The cleaning fee added in the booking is for the final cleaning after guests' departure. For instance, guests staying one month would have to pay for one additional cleaning after 2 weeks.
