A Place To Relax

This beautiful & romantic getaway can sleep up to 4 people but its ideal for 2! With rolling hills & plenty of open country there's lots of area to explore. We have cows that you'll see wandering the paddocks & you can enjoy the amazing stars at night on the deck with the fire going & a glass of wine or cuppa in hand! We are less then 10 mins from Nanango & 20 to Kingaroy. The South Burnett has something to offer for all, cafes, wineries, rail trails & adventurous bushwalks to name just a few! The space There are two cabins, a bedroom one and kitchen/living area one but they have been joined together by a big deck! We built them ourselves with 90% recycled materials! The accommodation is NOT shared and you'll have the whole space to yourself. It’s really an inside outside kind of set up, you have to go outside onto the deck to get from space to space. Eg. walk out of the bedroom cabin across the deck to get to the bathroom. There is a queen bed in the main cabin and the futon couch is in the living area cabin which folds out to a double bed. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you should need, and if there is anything else you need while you are staying feel free to message and ask, if we have it we are always happy to lend it! The pantry always has something in it. Usually some basic food for those guests who turn up and haven't got to doing a shop...There's always at least Tea, coffee, herbals, UHT milk & a good variety of herbs and spices, salt and pepper and sauces for cooking! Our house is near by but the cabins have been positioned in a very private setting. Guest access We have just over 100 acres for you to explore and there's not really any out of bound places. Bring your boots and go for a long walk- enjoy the wildlife, dams, little wildflowers, and the loud sound of the birds in the morning. There is a picnic basket provided so if you are wanting to you can pack it and head off to find a nice little spot by a dam! Nora our dog usually loves taking people on a tour. If she’s not around just call out to her and she’ll come running! Other things to note Our bathroom is super quirky but you'll have to not mind it being quiet warm in Summer and cold in winter as it is a bathroom with plenty of ventilation! It also gets a few various little creatures visiting it too 😉 It's home to a local frog Family who use most of the amenities.🐸 Note: there is no TV channels only a Chromecast and screen. We have a few local swimming holes around, beautiful natural pools. Ask us about these and we can send you directions!
