We will be readily available by phone, text, or the app whenever you need us for anything. We also have local help if anything is needed while you are there. There is nothing quite like the time you'll get to spend in Red River and we aim to make it a cozy, relaxing stay for you as our guests. We love the close proximity of our townhouse to everything in town. We are literally right in the middle of all the action! We are one block from Brett's Bistro, the Brewery, Brandenburg Park, the convention center, and the river. There are also 2 EV chargers at the convention center. The ski lifts are within walking distance and that can be a huge advantage when when the slopes are busy and the ski area lots are out of capacity. There is also a free shuttle that will pick you up and take you anywhere in town. Red River itself is such a charming little town with mostly locally-owned businesses and a slower pace of life. Come here for the friendly locals and visitors, cool mountain air in the summer, beautiful fall colors, and crisp snowy days in the winter. Lots of adventure to be had, whatever season you visit! We love the hiking and fishing in the summer, skiing and sledding in the winter. The fall colors in late Sept/early Oct are breathtaking to behold as well. We have one parking spot in our covered carport, and there is additional parking for trailers or other vehicles in nearby free town lots, as well as on the street. We generally walk everywhere while in town, but we are also located on the Red River shuttle line if you want to call for a free ride instead of walking. This is super convenient for skiing, as you can get door-to-door drop-off instead of walking in ski boots or trying to park in the ski area lots on busy days. There is also a golf cart rental business in town if you want to try that out instead of walking or driving your car during your trip. If flying commercial, you can take Taos Air into Taos airport (35 minutes away), or fly the larger airlines into Santa Fe (2 hours away), Albuquerque (3 hours away), Colorado Springs (3 hours away), or Denver (4.5 hours away).
