Cedar Creek Retreat "The Chalet"

Offering a beautiful rural outlook, Cedar Creek Retreat is a mini farm stay located at Herons Creek in the picturesque Hastings Valley. Only a short 25 min drive to Port Macquarie from the property & 15 min drive to Lakewood Shopping Centre, with Woolworths, medical centre, service station, cafes & specialty stores. Kids will love the wide-open spaces, while mum & dad enjoy the peace & quiet, & the whole family can partake in hand feeding sheep, goats & alpacas with the owner of an afternoon. The space Our two storey, self-contained, three-bedroom (2 x QB, 2 single beds, 1 trundle) accommodation can host up to 6-7 people. Downstairs is well appointed with air conditioning, dining & seating areas, & flat-screen TV. Upstairs has pedestal fans. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster. The bathroom is fitted with a disabled shower, toilet, & hairdryer. Fresh bed linen & towels are supplied for your convenience, along with a complimentary basket of goodies. There is also a shared undercover common area with BBQ, fire pits & free parking. Other things to note Phone reception is patchy depending on your service provider. If your phone supports Wi-fi calling we have satellite internet via Starlink. You will need to travel along 4km of dirt road to get to our farm, which is graded twice a year by our local council. In between these grades some potholes may develop, particularly after periods of high rainfall. A regular car is all you need (4WD not required). As a rural property out of town we rely solely on rain tank water for all of our water supply (drinking included). We appreciate mindful water usage, thank you. Please note: Electric vehicle charging is not included in this listing. If you need to charge your vehicle at the property during your stay then please advise us in advance and a $30 fee per vehicle charge will be added to your stay.
