In the ski season we are a hosted guest house providing self catered meal facilities and comfortable accommodation either for the whole lodge (5 guest bedrooms) or per individual bedroom. The space We are a family oriented Winter snow sports guest house situated at Crackenback in the Snowy Mountain foothills close to the Wild Brumby Distillery and Crackenback Farm Restaurant (both open to public for tasting and eating). We cater predominantly for skiers, boarders and other Alpine sports lovers. We provide comfortable quality accommodation in our spacious house. For meals, if not eating out our kitchen and dining facilities are at yours disposal for "DIY" meal preparation. Families with children love our home and its 100 acre surrounds, views and wildlife. A special winter favourite (weather permitting) is our bonfire night (with marsh-mellows, of course). We also celebrate Christmas in July and guest's birthdays, if we are given prior notice. In the Winter months Simone and Geoff are your resident hosts and love to share with our guests an apres-ski glass of our Gluehwein home-made warm mulled wine and complimentary nibbles to warm you up after a day in the snow. In the Summer season guests can enjoy privacy and peace and quiet in our hilly mountain retreat; go horse-trecking on a near-by property; mountain bike riding at Thredbo, or chancing your hand at catching a trout from our lake. Simone is Swiss and (naturally) a very good skier. She likes to find time to help beginners get past the snow-plough. Geoff is 2/3 Aussie, and 1/3 Pommie and has long since given up trying to keep up with Simone on the slopes. Between us we have 20 grandkids at last count, hence our family orientation.
