Campsite in Cave City
Description
A good fit for those who enjoy camping but wish to avoid crowds. Convenient to Mammoth Cave NP (6.2 mi) as well as Cave City (3 mi). A short walk from parking will take visitors to an equipped campsite sitting on an elevated perch that peers out into a forest that steepens to the east as it approaches an interesting canyon. The site is equipped with a tent, sleeping pad/s, bedding, lantern, tea table and fire-pit. Bathroom access in main house during morning and evening intervals. The space The art and ecology of this project exists at the intersection of the design and construction of trails, which accentuate the natural features while preserving life, in a similar vein as a gallery. Off leash dogs allowed when well-behaved, and we urge guests to honor the spirit of this work by staying on the trail and picking up after their pet friends. The open fields feature mowed walking paths, which are perfect for walking and running, taking moonlit walks, kicking around a soccer ball, playing frisbee, etc. Guest access Trails and fields.
