This is a completely private, full 2nd-floor apartment in a nice residential neighborhood. Each of the 2 larger bedrooms have new queen-size beds The small bedroom has one full-size double bed. One extra twin floor mattress. Big kitchen with all cooking and dining utensils. There is an old style Claw Foot Tub in the Bathroom. Cable & WiFi Safe & Plentiful on-street parking. Window A/C units. There is a lock-box on the main front door of the house and there is a lovely common porch area. Once inside, your own private entry door is to the left, which leads up the stairs to the full 2nd floor apartment. We do live in the house downstairs and are friendly. Oyster Bay is a small town steeped in the history of President Teddy Roosevelt. It's a brief walk down into town or to the LIRR railroad, which gives access to JFK airport and NYC. Tuesdays during the summer there's a great Cruise Night in town with lots of awesome classic cars. It’s more of a residential town than a tourist area Sagamore Hill, the home of Teddy Roosevelt, and a national historic site, is nearby as well as the Planting Fields arboretum state park. Bayville is a beautiful drive getting there along the water. There’s a small amusement park & long Island sound beaches. There is also a Marina with boat & Jetski waverunner rentals. Huntington Village, with its plentiful shops, restaurants, and nightlife as well as the Paramount concert venue, is just down the road past Cold Spring Harbor and the hiking trails at Cold Spring Harbor state park. It is about a 15-minute drive east on Rt. 25A. Oyster Bay is in eastern Nassau County, not too far from New York City which is accessible via Long Island Rail Road. Without traffic It’s about a 45 minute drive from JFK airport. Without traffic about an hour drive from NYC or LaGuardia Airport. However traffic conditions can vary greatly and can take significantly more time. If you are exploring Long Island, you will need transportation venturing to other destinations. Having a vehicle is highly recommended on Long Island. This is a full APARTMENT RENTAL in a quiet residential neighborhood. This is NOT A HOTEL or a short term rooming house. No loud music, late nights, not a party house. Occasionally there are emergency sirens for the volunteer firefighters and EMS.
