This private, 2 bedroom apartment is attached to our house. It has great sound insulation from the main house. Similar setup to a side-by-side duplex, with an always locked adjoining door. It has neutral decor, and is cozy and comfortable. We offer a kitchenette (all kitchen amenities minus an oven, but we have countertop burners & appliances to make up for it). Your own washer/dryer stocked with supplies and private full bath with rainfall shower head and HUGE tub! We also offer Hulu, HBO&WIFI. The space We are centrally located, and only 12 minutes from Cleveland's Hopkins airport. We are close to tons of shopping and restaurants. NASA and the Metropark’s (voted the best park system in the country) are also minutes away. We are about 20-30 minutes (depending on traffic) to downtown Cleveland and world class hospitals like the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and schools like Baldwin Wallace (1 mi away), Case Western Reserve, Oberlin College, and Cleveland State University. We have a small beach nearby, and a cute downtown right out of a hallmark movie, just a mile away. It’s an incredibly safe and well-loved community. You really get the best of everything in Berea! You will have full access to your own 700 sq ft. private apartment. It has a separate entrance and two driveway spaces for your personal use. We also have ample, free daytime street parking. There are two large bedrooms with lots of closet space, reading nook and combination living/dining room on the first level. We have a Queen size bed in one room, three twins (one is a trundle bed) in the other. We also have a pack and play/bassinet combo that allows for sleeping on two different levels depending on your child’s age and a toddler bed railing in the unit as well. There are TV's in the living room and primary bedroom with a firestick that offers HBO, Netflix and Hulu. You are welcome to use your own accounts for Prime or any other apps during your stay. The basement level has a newly updated kitchenette, utility room with a stackable washer and dryer and full bath with soaking tub and rainfall shower head. The lower level comes stocked with all the necessities....detergent, linens, shampoo, soap, condiments, cookware, and of course coffee and tea (among other things). You also have your own thermostat for the unit that controls your central air and heating, plus an additional wall heater, window ac unit (seasonally) and fan for comfort. We also provide baby gates, a combination bassinet/pack n' play, high chair, infant tub and games and toys for adults and kids. Our family of three lives onsite with our elementary aged son and our dog. Since the apartment's adjoining wall was once an exterior wall, there is excellent sound proofing-so you shouldn't hear us too much! However, if you need anything, we are not far. We offer contact free check-in, as an added convenience for our guests. There is a coded keypad on the door so you can easily come and go. Code and address will be sent 48 hours prior to check-in. We strive to maintain a clean and safe environment, so all Airbnb cleaning protocols are followed and a professional cleaner is used in between visits. We also offer hand sanitizer, masks, and disinfectant in the unit. We also provide a white noise machine. *Please note that there is one outdoor ring camera/doorbell at the entrance of your suite. That allows us to communicate with you if needed in the event that you arrive and we are not home. Guest access The neighborhood has ample parking and is easily accessible by car or bike. We are close to the airport, so Uber and LYFT are generally available and close by. We also have a public transportation system that includes the rapids (think above ground subway system) and bussing within the Greater Cleveland Area. There are a few places within steps from our home (the Metroparks, Sportman’s Tavern and Grill, a convenience store). Walkable Downtown Berea (where there is a much larger variety of restaurants, shopping and activities) is a mile away from our house. There is a binder in the apartment with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go. Other things to note The garage, backyard and main house are not included with the rental.
