Get away from it all and enjoy what the forest has to offer. This cozy cabin is the perfect place to unwind, or, if you prefer, use it as your home base while hiking, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing, or visiting Mount Rainier and the surrounding area. The space Cozy, newly remodeled A-Frame cabin (620 sq. ft) with state forest land at your back door. Full bath, kitchen with granite counter tops, compact range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and serving meals, and has a Flex Brew coffeemaker or K cup (variety of coffees, teas, hot chocolate provided). Semi open loft sleeping area upstairs, with queen size bed, and spiral staircase (privacy curtain at landing at top of staircase.). Living area with Beautyrest sofa sleeper (twin), recliner, WIFI, DVD, Stereo with CD player, TV with Hulu, Amazon, Pandora, preloaded, standalone movies, games, CD, DVD movies provided. I do not charge a cleaning fee it is built into daily rental. Guest access Hot Tub, outdoor fire pit, and laundry (in separate building next to back deck). Plenty of free cut firewood outside. Other things to note Located about 10 minutes to the south entrance of Mt Rainier. The Nisqually River is a short hike away. Just a 5 minute drive to the town of Ashford, where you'll find two small convenience stores, Highlander restaurant, a visitors station, the post office, and Whittaker mountaineering. Whittaker Bunkhouse has great coffee & Ice cream. If you're in need of a grocery store, Eatonville or Morton are where you need to go (both about 15-20 minutes away). Spices, condiments, cooking oils, and pancake mix are available in the kitchen. The water at the cabin is excellent, so no need to bring bottled water.
