Tuscan villa with Infinity Pool near Cortona

Casa Fiordalisi is a wonderful four bedroom family villa with a fabulous infinity pool, lovely views and easy access. The extensive gardens and pool area offer a sweeping vista across the valley to Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino. This recently renovated home boasts traditional Tuscan features and antique furniture ,yet a light filled modern open plan layout with high spec facilities. Private, well equipped and family friendly, this stylish home offers a perfect base to explore Tuscany. The space This is an entire family home available for let with 2 x king bedrooms ( one with an en-suite ) , 1 x queen size bedroom and a double height bedroom with 2 bunk beds, a cot and 2 mattress pallets on the mezzanine. Two of the bedrooms give out onto terraces, all have new electric ceiling fans. For those with children, as well as the main cot, we also have a spare travel cot for an additional infant and a high chair for feeding. There is a full family bathroom with bathtub and shower as well as the en-suite and a further bathroom on the ground floor. The living areas are open plan with a kitchen island, 2 internal dining areas and a living room with 2 x double sofas and an armchair. There are terraces all around the house for eating or relaxing , 2 have tables/seating for up to 8 people and the other has sofas for relaxing/reading. There is a large mature garden, an infinity pool with sunloungers for 6 adults and a sun umbrella. The pool has a view of Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino as well as the Castle of Montecchio. The garden has a small outbuilding with a ping pong table set up inside and the property has ample private parking. The house and garden is very secure, fully fenced with code operated electric gates. The house itself is situated in a rural area on the edge of a small village, surrounded by fields ( alternately wheat and sunflowers ) as well as olive trees. Pheasants are abundant as well as other wildlife such as falcons, porcupines and hares. Despite its peaceful location, the house has great access to the main roads to Florence, Siena, Perugia and Arezzo as well as all the fantastic smaller hill towns such as Cortona and Montepulciano. The area is blessed with fantastic restaurants and cultural sights. Guest access The entire property is available for use by guests. Other things to note This is a self-catering let. Whilst we provide some basic essentials like toilet paper and soap and the kitchen has teabags, coffee filters, cooking oils & condiments, we do expect guests to do their own shopping for things like coffee/detergent/BBQ coal and any other provisions they may need for their stay. We have fly screens that you can fit inside the windows in each room, and electric ceiling fans should you need them. The pool is cleaned every week, usually Rafaelle will have been and gone by the time you wake up as he comes around 7am so as not to disturb guests. We also have automatic sprinklers that come on every morning and evening to water the garden. For refuse there is a guide in the house as to which recycling can be left out when. There are large paper bags under the stairs to leave card at top of drive on allocated day, otherwise there are also large bins at the top of the field to the right of our driveway.
