Great for couples, hidden away on our farm, this hut has a cosy double bed, log burner and everything else you need for the perfect stay. This luxurious hut includes a sofa, smart TV, WIFI underfloor heating, shower room with WC and a kitchen with Tea, Coffee, Milk and a homemade Bran Loaf too. A private patio has a fire pit with logs/fuel and tables and chairs to relax on. It is hidden away in its own private green space next to the farm’s woodlands where privacy and pure peacefulness are the order of the day. A cosy (and extremely comfy) double bed is waiting for you. With feather and down pillows and a duvet that’s sure to give you a great night’s sleep, it will leave you feeling reinvigorated for the day ahead. The hut includes a beautiful handmade kitchenette and en-suite shower room. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need for a perfect self-catering getaway with a kettle, toaster, microwave oven, coffee machine, electric hob, fridge-freezer, butler sink and all the cutlery and utensils you could need. So sharing pictures and stories of your stay has never been easier. Of course, we also love a digital detox here on the farm, so switch off your phone and mind and just sit back and soak up the breathtaking views. Outside you’ll be able to unwind on your very own patio area with gorgeous tables and chairs, or toast marshmallows over the fire pit as the sun goes down. An alfresco breakfast is a must (weather dependant of course!), relax grab a cup and listen to the birds and animals on your doorstep. Whether you want somewhere off the grid to unwind at or want a unique place to stay whilst you explore the Yorkshire Dales in all its glory, our hut is somewhere you're guaranteed a 5* stay. Small non-moulting dogs are more than welcome, if you have a bigger breed, we do have kennel facilities on request, please message to discuss. Guest access Our Far Cappleside Farm consists of 300 acres and has natural woodland surrounding the hut. In spring, you're guaranteed to be welcomed by our newborn lambs roaming around the fields next to you. Barn Owls can often be seen flying at dusk and can be heard early hours of the morning, along with much, much more wildlife. We are in a rural location so if you love the gorgeous countryside, we are perfect for you. The huts are up at the top of our farm which guarantees breathtaking views of the Yorkshire Dales. Settle is a beautiful market town a 10-minute drive away and has lots of shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways to choose from. There are several supermarkets including Booths and The Co-op, as well as smaller independent shops to explore too. When you arrive, you'll need to drive or walk up the farm lane and with the farm on your left, follow the lane around and then up the track. We have signs that point you in the right direction from the road to the huts. Whilst we do recommend driving to us due to our location, public transport is available with a bus service from Settle and a stop is a short walk from us. And if you're biking then the access is great too. We have secure bike storage available to use free of charge. Parking for cars is included with a private gated car park and from there a limestone path leads you to your hut. This includes solar lighting if you arrive at night. The Settle-Carlisle railway is iconic and has regular services from Carlisle to Leeds. Giggleswick train station is also a short drive from us and has regular services from Leeds to Lancaster. There are a couple of taxi firms in the area, although we highly recommend booking in advance if you want to use them to travel to and from us.
