Villa Zenovia is located in Mpitzariano, a small traditional village just 2 minutes from Kastelli and only 15 minutes from cosmopolitan Hersonissos. From Heraklion airport is 30 minutes by car. The area around the villa is overgrown with olive trees, giving a sense of tranquility, peacefulness and serenity. Other things to note North of Kastelli and just 36 kilometers from Heraklion lies the settlement Bitzariano. In the past, several watermills used to be in the area because of the existence of water. Two of them were inside the village, one of which is still in a good condition, the mill of “Bitzaro”. Two factories and an olive press are among the attractions for the residents and visitors, and also wells, which were once used for the water supply of the settlement.
