Your loft room is an idyllic romantic retreat for couples, tucked away in the beautiful Cornish countryside surrounded by nature. We are very well located with many popular tourist destinations such as St Ives, the Lizard peninsular, St Michaels Mount, Penzance, and the north coast within 30 minutes drive. Helston and Porthleven are just a short hop away by car. The open plan double bedroom with ensuite is both light and airy with sweeping views of the Cornish countryside. Please note this is an attic room with sloping ceilings and as such has restricted headroom but there is plenty of height in the centre of the room with the apex having a max height of 7ft 6 (2.3m). The quiet and spacious bedroom has a double bed with organic cotton sheets, throws and cushions. You can curl up and enjoy a good range of books and DVD's or simply enjoy the views from the large glazed gable window. Black out blinds and curtains ensure a good nights sleep. The room is very well insulated and airy and it rarely gets too hot but we can also provide a very quiet floor standing fan on request. The room comes with a private, modern ensuite, including shower, private toilet cubicle and double wash basin as well as towels and toiletries. There is plenty of underbed storage and hanging space for your stay. The room also includes a (silent) mini fridge, TV for DVD's, Wifi and kettle with tea (inc. herbal) & coffee. Your own balcony and private courtyard allows for relaxing outside and taking in the expansive views of the Cornish countryside. The courtyard includes a table and chairs as well as bench seating. Guest access You enjoy a private loft room with separate external access to the side of the main property solely for your use. On entering, an internal private staircase leads up to your loft room. You have your own designated parking spot as well as a private balcony where you can sit and enjoy the morning and evening sun. We are a family home and ask that you respect this request and plan your journey accordingly. By booking with us, you agree to these terms and we reserve the right to refuse entry to our home if you ignore the check-in timeframe. * We also provide knives, forks and plates for you to be able to eat takeaway meals or cold food/ picnics which can be kept in your own private mini fridge. * We have a good list of local eateries in our Airbnb guide providing takeaway and delivery services for your convenience. * The tap water in your room is suitable to drink. We are set in a rural location, down a bridal track lane and have chippings on our driveway. If you have a lowered vehicle, sports car or long-wheelbase van/ motorhome, then we suggest that this property is unsuitable for you to book. We accept no responsibility for any damages incurred to your vehicle during your stay as we have been very clear on the nature of the surrounding terrain. We are a family home and kindly ask that guests respect our request to keep noise to a minimum after 8pm. We also ask that the balcony and rear garden are vacated by 9pm.
