Quiet retreat in Charming Bear Creek Lake

Ready to go. Three bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen with all you need to cook and serve your family. Quiet wooded lot. Close to the lake and community pool and playground. Large private deck for sitting out and enjoying the scenery. . The space Three bedroom cabin with two full baths. The cabin sleeps up to eight comfortably. There is space for the whole family. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy a cookout or bonfire some nights. Or you may stay inside, cozy by the fireplace, with a good book or glass of wine. Although, we are secluded from the busy town of Jim Thorpe we are not in the dark! Complimentary Wifi, two televisions with cable access are included as well. Sounds so lovely, you wouldn’t want to leave, would you? Well, everything from new bedding, linens, a fully stocked kitchen, toiletries ( body wash, shampoo and conditioner) are included. A mere ten minutes from downtown Jim Thorpe there are numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, concerts, and art galleries to occupy your time. Penns Peak and the historic Mauch Chunk Opera House host a variety of shows and concerts weekly. Yearning for Winter Wonderland? The Cabin is eighteen miles to Jack Frost (approx 20 min) with a great hills for sledding, snowboarding, and skiing. Beware of the bears (not really). Here in bear creek we admire the local wildlife from deer, rabbits, and even our namesake (who we find to be quite friendly though). Guest access From kayaking, to biking, fishing, and hiking one can find any number of recreational activities to embrace their inner outdoors man. Pocono Whitewater rafting and skirmish facilities are less than ten minutes away. Enjoy lounging by the beach or pool too (access of which is included with the rental).
