Self-catering cottage in New Mills, High Peak

We invite you to have a restful break at our cosy and well-equipped cottage, situated on a quiet back street in the centre of New Mills. A minute's walk from cafes, restaurants, pubs and a great chippy, as well as a short walk from Torrs Riverside Park and the Sett Valley trail, which leads you further into the Peak District towards Kinder Scout. The cottage is perfect as a base for walkers, runners and families looking for a relaxing break in nature. The space Downstairs: Downstairs there is combined living room and kitchen. The living room includes a TV with DVD player (variety of DVDs included), comfy two seater leather sofa and two armchairs, foot stools, a coffee table, floor lamp, additional side table and a fireplace with an electric heater (if needed, as there is also central heating). There is a fold-away dining table and chairs, which seats four and can be set up in the kitchen area. The newly-fitted kitchen includes an electric cooker with ceramic hob, oven and grill, microwave, fridge freezer and full size dishwasher, as well as cutlery, crockery, and pots and pans for cooking. Coffee, tea and sugar are provided, as well as basic seasoning and cooking oil. There are wine glasses, a teapot and a cafetiere. Upstairs: The carpeted staircase leads you up to the first floor, which contains a spacious landing, modern bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms. The double bedroom includes a comfy double bed, a dressing table and clothes storage. The small second bedroom contains two adult-sized wooden bunk beds, with spring and memory foam mattresses, shelving and bedside shelf with reading light for each bunk bed. Both bedrooms have venetian blinds and blackout curtains. Each upstairs room has central heating. The Fibre Broadband hub is located in the living room and there is good signal strength throughout the house. Guest access Guests will have full, exclusive use of the cottage during their stay. Check in is via a lockbox. We live close to the property so can be available if needed, and are always on the other end of the phone for any questions.
