The space This modern Panabode log cabin sits directly on the Chesapeake Bay with easy, direct beachfront access via short sets of steps (see images.) The home blends rustic warmth with clean, contemporary comfort and offers sweeping sunrise views from the deck and multiple rooms. Outdoor living is a highlight, with a multi-tiered deck, loungers, hot tub, firepit, swing, and shallow water ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding. Inside, the home is spotless, thoughtfully labeled, and designed for peaceful, intentional stays rather than large gatherings or parties. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the home and property. Parking is available in the private driveway only for up to 2–3 vehicles maximum. Street parking is not permitted and is enforced by the HOA. A community boat launch is available for small craft. Please contact us in advance if you plan to bring a trailer. Beach access is directly from the property via a short sequence of easy steps (see images.) Other things to note Linens & Supplies Guests bring their own bed linens, towels, and paper products. Bed sizes are provided below to make this easy. This helps us maintain the exceptional cleanliness guests consistently comment on while protecting the home’s septic system. House Rules • No pets (owners have severe allergies) • No visitors or unregistered guests • No street parking or exceeding the 3-car limit • Outdoor security cameras are in use Waterfront & Safety The home is directly on the bay. Beach width and water clarity vary seasonally. Unfenced bulkheads are present — children must be supervised at all times. Natural bay conditions may include jellyfish, rocks, and crab pots. The beach below the mean high-water line is public per Maryland law. Weather can change rapidly; please use care at all times. Kayaks & Paddleboards • Life vests must be used when swimming or kayaking • Three single-person kayaks with paddles provided • Two stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) with paddles provided • Use only in appropriate conditions and stay close to shore • Two people are required to move kayaks on/off the rack Trash & Septic Guests must remove all trash and recycling at the end of their stay. The home uses a nitrogen-reducing septic system — please flush only toilet paper and do not put grease or food down sinks.
