Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located basement walk-out in the Toronto Beach neighbourhood. Steps from Kew Gardens, shops, restaurants, and other amenities on Queen Street. One block from the boardwalk where you can walk, run, cycle, swim, paddle or just sit and enjoy the view! The apartment features a bedroom with queen bed, ensuite full bath and a kithenette/dining area/living room with a dedicated workspace. 24-hour public transit runs within 200 m of the apartment. The space This apartment is located in the basement of a residential home, just a few doors north of Queen Street in the beaches area of Toronto. There are steps leading up a small hill, and steps going down to the entrance, with a small covered sitting area at the front. It would be challenging for anyone who struggles with stairs. Inside the entrance you will find a main living area with a kitchenette, dining area, living area and a desk/workspace. The kitchenette includes a bar fridge, large sink, microwave, toaster oven, air fryer and portable induction cooktop. It is equipped with basic dishes, utensils and cutlery. Adjacent to the main space is a medium sized bedroom with a queen bed, small closet and a dresser. Off the bedroom is a three piece bath with a full-size tub and shower. Beyond that is access to a washer and dryer shared with the host family. There is no on-site parking, but a public parking lot is less than 200 m from the front door, which offers reasonably priced overnight parking. The area is very well serviced by public transit (see guest access for more details). Guest access The best way to get around the neighbourhood is on foot, by bicycle or on public transit, which runs within 200 m of the apartment. The nearest subway station is Main Station, on the Bloor Line. The 64 Main bus stops at Queen and Hambly (one block from the apartment), and takes 12 minutes to the station from there. Alternately the 501 streetcar (24-hour service) is two blocks away. It is about 40 minutes to Queen Station on the Yonge Line. There is no on-site parking, but a public parking lot is less than 200 m from the front door, which offers reasonably priced overnight parking. Other things to note Please be respectful of others living in the house, keeping noise to a minimum. Absolutely no smoking in the house. If you are smoking outside, please be mindful of open windows.
