Furnished in cedar wood and whites, the studio reflecting eloquent modernity also preserves the typical mountain house elements. let yourself experience " House in a Room" The space This Tiny house has been carved out of a restored space within the chalet Malhaar, maintaining the structural and aesthetic integrity of the place. It is best suited for either three adults or two adults and two kids. It’s nearly 350sqft in total with the bath. Having located on the floor below, one needs to firstly enter the property using the common wooden deck and then take 15 steps further down to reach the ground level. It is here that the lawn begins and you would find the independent access gate to your private space. The views from the studio are partial due to deciduous foliage from April to December which then open up in peak winters when the trees shed for new flowering in spring. The view shown in the photos are actual and are seen as such from within the studio and the kerchief lawn. Also because it is at lowest level of the property complex it has a little neighbourhood around. It ain't a issue since the fence around the studio has been designed in a way to offer complete privacy from within and outside . Lastly we are a homestay and prospective guest must be aware of it since one must not carry expectation of it to be some independently existing wilderness studio at some offbeat place in Dalhousie. We are right in center of town just 1KM away from subhash chowk and 2 kms away from Gandhi chowk/mall road. Guest access The entire enclosed private space beyond the lawn gate. Other things to note > At an additional cost you can also avail cooked meals. > A standalone bonfire could be availed at ₹500. >Please be considerate, this place is our home and not a hotel. We do not approve any indoor smoking. Do try and keep the place clean and tidy. Any unruly, hostile, destructive, or demanding behaviour would lead to intervention in form of penalty or removal. >The chalet is connected with the main bungalow which is a private property. Please do not trespass. >The drive to the door front is a steep incline. We advise you to reckon the road first and only if confident of your driving proceed. Other wise you could request us a driver or rather park your vehicle 150mts away on the municipal road >The last 150mts approach to the property is a downhill descent. It's a hill station after all. While easy to walk down may be strenuous while walking up. This while sure to get you in shape and trim the flab may not be very comfortable for elderly. In such cases we advice you to consider a driver/taxi drop/pick-up. >The curios on the property are a personal collection. Please be extremely careful with them. >A place for driver could also be arranged on prior request ( ₹500/-) > If not availing cooked meals we expect you to do the dishes, else you could avail cleaning (₹100) for each cleaning call. > the property next to the Airbnb is undergoing construction/renovation and we want guests to be aware . Although the neighbor tries best to minimise the noises and concomitant disturbance . We want the work from home guests to consider accordingly before choosing . We too however would update you with regard to the suitability of you stay that you have a pleasant holiday and would be happy to refund fully in case you are disappointed because of the neighbouring work and choose not to stay.
