Blue Room with a View; a wonderful getaway!

You’ll love this rustic spot nestled in the beautiful hills of Vermont, minutes away from two rivers, and lovely walks with valley views all around you. It's also just 10-15 minutes from Dartmouth College with it's libraries, fine music, theater, dance and films, and 15-25 from 3 local hospitals. Our place is great for traveling nurses, adventurers, and business travelers. Although it is a large room with a queen sized bed it is only available to single travelers. The space Your bedroom is large and fully furnished with a private half-bath and plenty of shelf and closet space. For short term guests we provide towels and linens. For longer term guests (1 month or more), should you need them, they are available. You are welcome to use our kitchen and full bath as needed. Guest access Within walking distance to a small classic New England town, our house backs up onto woods that border a state forest full of trails for walking & skiing. We are about 15 minutes away from the Dartmouth Ski-way and many local hiking trails and rivers and lakes to swim in. If you don't like to cook there are many good restaurants and pubs nearby. During the warmer months there is an organic farm with a cafe just 2 miles down the road. We have outdoor parking only. During your stay Although very busy with our own work schedules we would be happy to guide and introduce you in any way we can to the neighborhood and all it has to offer. Other things to note 1) For winter stays (Last week of Nov-March), due to our long driveway, a car with snow tires is required. In these parts (highways too) in the winter if you don't have 4 or All-wheel drive you need snow tires! (We have had front wheel drive and on occasion have to walk up our driveway even with snow tires. We put on our snows in mid November and don't remove them before early to mid April.) 2) We have 2 lovely cats. The room you will be using can be kept closed off from them but the kitchen and living room area cannot.
