Work from home in the Tower of Light office, filled with views and natural light. The living room features a gas fireplace with a cozy beach-fire ambiance, generous seating, and patio doors that open directly onto the garden — blurring the line between inside and out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain — and if there’s anything missing, just ask. The garage is your beach headquarters: chairs, a large beach mat, boogie boards, and patio games all ready to go. Beach towels are stocked in the cabinet above the washer. EV charger included. One car fits inside, another in the driveway. Step outside to the front garden patio sheltered by mature trees, the dining room terrace perfect for people-watching, or the crow’s nest for a quiet morning Nespresso coffee. Guest access Parking & Getting Around Parking in Capitola is limited, but you’re perfectly positioned here — walk to the village, the beach, and even the iconic Shadowbrook Restaurant. Pro tip: Shadowbrook offers complimentary taxi service with your reservation, so let them come to you. (Please tip your driver!) The property accommodates one car in the garage and one in the driveway. Need a third spot? Request a parking pass in advance, and we’ll leave one for street parking on Beulah, right next to the cottage. Access All doors are keyless with a 4-digit code — no need to worry about lost keys. Your access code will be sent the day before check-in so you can arrive and settle in with ease. Other things to note Your daily rate includes Capitola’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) of 12% — no surprise fees at checkout. Many short-term rentals in the area charge this separately, so what you see is what you pay. Please note there is a cleaning fee and a pet fee — the pet fee goes directly to the cleaning crew to ensure the cottage is pristine and hair-free for every guest.
