Buret on Meraker west is centrally located in the mountain village of Meråker, and is a great starting point for both active and relaxing holidays. The immediate surroundings are characterized by tranquility and nature, while the road to larger places such as Trondheim and Åre is short. The space Meraker Vestre is the oldest farm in Meråker, and was first inhabited in 1548. The Stabburet was furnished in 2004, and has most of what you need. The farm otherwise consists of a large courtyard with residential houses and barns that are surrounded by large fields and meadows, and you hear no traffic or other noise. Nature is thus around "Buret" on all sides, and summer and winter there are many opportunities for trips, outdoor life and training. Meråker has, among other things, a ski stadium with a large cross-country network, alpine center, football hall, handball hall and shooting hall. Mountain trips to some of the village's 26 thousand-meter peaks are popular, and in Stjørdalselven and several lakes you can do both salmon and inland fishing.
