Find yourself surrounded by beautiful Oaks, pines & 3 abundant grapefruit trees. Sip your coffee or tea on the swing under the trees, have a picnic or bring or rent a kayak & spend the day at Springs. Full kitchen. This gem has all the amenities you will need as you unwind from life and decompress in nature. The space The entire house is yours to relax in. Exterior buildings (aside from the wash house) are for our personal storage and are NOT available for guests to use or enter. The main front/back and side yard are for your use, please do not enter into the woods they are private property. Note: the woods surrounding the house are private owned property, please do not explore the woods. Guest access Large yard and access to whole house including on site washer and dryer are available for use. Washer and dryer are located in a separate building from the house. Please do not go into the woods to explore or enter the other buildings on the property. Other things to note 1-2 dogs allowed with prior approval and paid pet cleaning fee. Disclose ahead of time. SORRY NO CATS DUE TO ALLERGIES -$75 fee will be added as a pet cleaning fee per stay. Please message us in advance to let us know that you’re planning on bringing your dog. HEADS UP ON OUR HUMBLE COTTAGE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING -This property is delightful in our eyes, however it is a fixer upper. If you are looking for brand new everything, this is not the place for you. The home is old but it has great bones, it’s clean and is just absolutely adorable. Our place is for those who enjoy history, character, uniqueness, flaws, and a story. If you book with us, don’t mind the outdated bathroom (it is perfectly functional), don’t mind the chipped paint in some interior and exterior areas. We are slowly but surely working to make this space our dream artists retreat. We encourage you to take in the nature, the quiet, the charm and the overall experience of disconnecting from the city, technology and everyday life. PLEASE keep in mind this is THE NATIONAL FOREST, expect wildlife sounds, possible sightings of bears, deer etc, darkness, and neighbors cats that frequent the property, seclusion, mosquitoes and during the warmer seasons deer flys. Possibility of noises coming from surrounding properties as well including, but not limited to, target practice, ATV/vehicle trails and noises etc. we love our natural surroundings and hope you do too. -A note about a/c- We now have Central Air and Central heat. Please do not leave the a/c running on extreme temperatures while you are away from the house. Please do not leave windows/doors open due to wildlife.
