You’ll love my place because of the light, comfy beds, nature. THREE-FIVE BEDROOMS and two baths in a guest wing of my house. It is not the whole house. No full kitchen, only a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. PRICE listed is $80 PER ROOM. About an hour to good skiing. Two friendly golden retrievers. In winter four wheel drive or at least snow tires. Steep driveway. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS. I WILL SEND DIRECTIONS. Please test for Covid before coming. The space There are THREE-FIVE BEDROOMS -- one has a queen size bed and four have double beds. Per ROOM $55 per night. Three bedrooms in one wing of my house where there is also one bathroom. Another bed in big playroom, and another is nearby in finished basement. There is a second bathroom in a nearby hallway. It is good for families or couples who know each other. I won't rent rooms to more than one 'group' as the space is more conducive to friends or family. So even if one person rents a room I won't rent to others. I am 12 miles from Keene and possible restaurants about 23 minutes away. There is a nice breakfast and lunch possibility at a country store 5 miles away in Harrisville. No restaurants close by. I do have a small refrigerator, microwave and Keurig in the guest wing of my house. If renting a car in the winter, RENT a 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE WITH SNOW TIRES! My driveway is steep and may be difficult with snow on it. Guest access Access through front door in summer and garage in winter because of snow. You come into central hallway and bedrooms are up in the wing where guests will be. The second bathroom is off the front hall. Also, ping pong table and various games in a large game room. I have an office in guest wing and will try to access it only when guests are not present in order to ensure privacy up in guest wing. I live on the other side of the house. During your stay I will be in another wing of the house and happy to answer any questions you may have. The Harrisville General Store is available for breakfasts and lunches and Keene is only 12 miles away for variety of restaurants for dinner. Peterborough is about half an hour away. I love this area and am happy to suggest hikes, ski locations, contra dance times and special local tidbits. Other things to note There is a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig in the guest wing, no full kitchen. The lakefront access is about half a mile from my house, an easy walk or drive. There is a contra dance every Monday night in Nelson, about a mile away. It is the longest continually running contra dance in the country. And there is a lot of music in this area in the summer: Apple Hill Chamber Music, Keene Chamber Music, Monadnock Music. The Colonial Theater, Keene State College and Peterborough Players offer good theatrical shows. Please test for Covid before coming.
