Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This newly refurbished lodge is situated in spacious grounds next to our family home. It's the perfect base to explore North Devon's coastline, with its historic ports and stunning beaches. Ideal for couples who enjoy hiking, cycling or surfing. Our lodge is bright & clean with a cosy log burning stove and outdoor seating area. Accommodation includes: Double bedroom, a room with daybed and ample space for luggage, kitchen, lounge & bathroom. The space Here's a breakdown of the accommodation:  A double bedroom, with double bed, fitted wardrobe and dressing table. A second bedroom with floor mattress and ample space for luggage and belongings.  Kitchen with gas hob and oven, kettle, toaster, cafetière, fully stocked cupboards and fresh herbs for tea and culinary use.  Lounge and dining area with wood burning stove, sofa, dining table/work space, DAB radio and tv, with beautiful views out into the tree tops and gardens.  Spacious outdoor area, with private entrance, gravel drive, small secluded garden, outdoor dining, hammock and relaxing swing chair.  Space for drying clothes and secure indoor lock up for bikes, surf boards etc.  Guest access The property is situated on a country lane. Parking in the drive is essential (please reverse in so you can exit onto the lane safely). The lodge is located 3 miles outside the village of Woolsery with it’s post office and stores selling local produce, the fish and chip shop, and Farmers Arms pub and Restaurant which regularly featured in The Times supplements. We are happy to offer transport to and from the village should you wish to spend the evening there.  Other things to note We are all about the personal touches and love to offer each of our guests freshly baked sourdough from our kitchen. Complimentary fire wood is provided to make your stay super cosy with your log burning stove crackling away! Please be aware there is no wifi and mobile coverage is low; enjoy a digital detox and the joy of being off-grid!
