This idyllic farmhouse from 1730 consists of a main house where we live, and a 50m² side wing for guests. The house and the side wing were stylishly renovated. Thanks to a separate entrance, you can enjoy maximum privacy. The side wing is surrounded by almost a hectare of lush garden, and through a gate at the back you get access to the lake. If you want to get back into the inhabited world, you can reach shops, train stations, and highways in all directions in less than 10 minutes. The space The old stable space of this farmhouse was recently transformed with sleek ironwork into a functional, characterful living unit. All modern comforts are available: hot water, central heating, double glazing, dimmable lights, super fast WiFi... Along a separate entrance, you enter your own private hallway that leads to the living area. On the ground floor, you will find the sitting area: a sofa with adjustable backrest and a large TV with Chromecast. On the other side of the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen. Induction stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, Nespresso machine, pots and pans, herbs, oil, towels... everything is available! There is a table for two people that can be folded open so that it is also possible to eat with three or four people (although that is a bit tight). The bathroom is small but equipped with all the comforts. A neat shower, toilet and sink, a mirror cabinet, a hair dryer, towels, shower gel, shampoo etc. Under the roof, there are two mezzanines that are accessible via two wrought iron stairs. The first mezzanine has a double bed, the second mezzanine has a single bed and a desk. Note: the stairs are steep (see pictures)! The side wing is completely surrounded by garden and forest, so from all windows you have a view of the trees, plants and animals in the garden. You have your own private parking. Our estate is rural with a view of a beautiful lake. Although you are in the middle of nature here, this place is exceptionally well located.
