Perfect space to hold retreats, art, yoga. Hear the sounds of ocean and frogs at night. The space About this Space: Very comfortable cozy farm house. We bought this farmhouse 5 years ago and put in a brand new kitchen, bathroom, new carpets, flooring, and appliances and artist studio, chicken coop, garden and fire pit to sit outside and enjoy the stars. An artist lovers home with a zen rustic farmhouse decor. Included in your stay: We have 2 kayaks, as 2 adult mountain bikes and 2 child bikes (fit age 7-11) Kitchen/ dining area opens up to the wrap around porch where you can enjoy plenty of outdoor seating , views of the ocean, or watch the stars as you snuggle up on the 2 porch swings. There is a fire pit with plenty of firewood for those nights when s'mores are a must! We have a safe quiet neighborhood, usually the only things you hear are the wind in the trees and owls calling at night. We do have amazing neighbors nearby but the house is very private surrounded by trees. Because there are homes nearby we request quiet after hours. The home is 2500 sq ft providing lots of space, 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 extra bedroom downstairs, as well as a closed off living room with 2 single mattress's if needed. Quality furnishings with a modern rustic theme, allowing guests to relax in comfort. You'll have an opportunity to watch shows on the 60" HDTV with complimentary access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. In the kitchen and dining area, you'll find everything needed to prepare your own meals in the well-stocked kitchen, gas stove, chefs fridge, with a large table and ample seating. Large island as well as farm house table and chairs perfect for a large family. The Master bedroom features a King-sized bed while one guest bedroom features a king, one bedroom a queen and one bedroom a full sized bed. (There are also 2 single mattress's that can be arranged in extra space if needed) Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and property. Please note: This our home, so we have our personal items, art, kids things, etc around .. so please be respectful of our private property. Also, if you have small children please let us know so we can try to put things out of reach! :) Dogs accepted upon request and pet deposit. Easy to walk to town or enjoy all the fall colors from the comfort of the porch. As you go into town you will pass Crescent Beach (one of the nicest on the island). In Eastsound you will find tennis courts, the library with free internet, theater, restaurants, good book store with coffee, a brewery, groceries, shops, school, spa and medical center. The hiking in Moran State Park and Turtleback Mountain Preserve is not to be missed. 2 Kayaks available to use, please let us know ahead of time. Please note there is no direct beach access from our house walking distance - ( all are private beaches) but there are a few public beaches within 2 miles. If you don't bring a car, then you would need to arrange for a taxi to our property. There are two taxi services on Orcas. Check out the Orcas Island Chamber site. Other things to note We are an animal friendly farmhouse. Pets are considered on request. There will be a non refundable $150 pet deposit per pet Your pet must be completely house broken and not be left home ALONE. ( we know that in a new place sometimes dogs will bark, scratch doors, eat furniture and sometimes puke and pee just because) * Do you love art?
