Beautifully restored 1875 village home 2 blocks from Seneca Lake, in the heart of wine country. Our quaint village is centrally located on Seneca Lake where over 50 wineries/breweries await you. Keuka outlet trail is a few blocks away- use our bikes to explore gorgeous waterfalls and trails. Your spacious private suite has a separate entrance and porch all to yourself with mini frig,microwave and Keurig. along with an en suite bathroom. The Copper Barn next door has additional lodging. The space The 19th century home, with private entrance, has been completely remodeled yet it’s original charm remains. The quiet village offers a relaxing getaway, with areas to view Seneca Lake sunrises, tennis courts, a small public beach with a Kayak launch and the fabulous Keuka outlet trail. We have bikes/helmets,fishing poles,camp chairs,beach towels and tennis equipment to take advantage of the outdoor activities. Areas to explore within a short drive include, Penn Yan with a regional airport, cider mills, orchards, wine/local spirits bars, great eats and spectacular Keuka lake (10 min). Geneva, Hobart William and Smith College,waterfront visitor center and park.restaurants (20 min), Watkins Glen raceway and State park(25 min). There are several Mennonite farms nearby, offering fresh pies, produce,fudge and other specialties. Horse and buggies often ride by our home on the weekends. You will have a stocked mini frig with complimentary water and snacks Keurig and microwave in your private suite. Guest access Private entrance to own enclosed porch. Guest have access to bicycles w/ baskets, helmets,tennis racquets/balls, picnic basket. Guest may store items in refrigerator located in mudroom as well as use of laundry facilities upon request. Other things to note Tiny quiet town, nearest store 8 minutes away. 3 seasons porch is not heated and chilly in cold weather but air conditioned in the warm months. We have a space heater for cool nights, not optimum for winter use when below 20 degrees. Bedroom suite has central a/c.
