Description
A beautiful three bedroom, Grade II listed fisherman's cottage, situated in the heart of Cromer, 1 minute from the beach and the sea. With its central location, this three bedroom cottage is the ideal base to explore the local area and sample some of the famous Cromer produce, including locally caught crab and lobster. The space Named after the Longshore crab and fishermen of the same name, our cottage has been lovingly restored using local crafts people and products in a traditional, yet comfortable style. Offering accommodation for up to six people in three bedrooms across three floors, Longshore provides fantastic location and comfort for any duration of stay, from a two-night weekend escape to the seaside, to holidays of a longer duration. Fantastic local pubs and restaurants abound (we have our own private entrance to the Wellington Pub garden which is situated behind the house!) and are easily reached by walking or short journeys further afield.* Local activities are also numerous and include surfing (surf hire available locally), sea-fishing and crabbing off of the pier. You can even view Cromer's own Banksy artwork located just down the beach a short walk away! *Please note that Longshore Cottage is situated in the heart of the bustling seaside area of Cromer which we love but can be busy at high season. The local pubs, including the Wellington Pub just behind the house, can also be busy and occasionally have live music at the weekend which can sometimes be heard inside and as we are next to the pub you can hear people in the pub garden and the street enjoying themselves on a daily basis. The log burner is available to use from September to March for winter months only. Guest access You have access to the entire property and you have a private entrance to the Wellington Smokehouse which is a pub in the centre of Cromer. There is no parking on the property but you can park for free on a nearby street or pay for long term parking in a nearby car park. Other things to note Because this is an old cottage it has a steep Norfolk winder staircase which is a bit narrow in places. We are right in the centre of town so we do not have parking but always find a space nearby. We are very near the sea and next to a lovely (but busy!) pub. They occasionally have live music/karaoke at the weekends and it can be heard in the house on these occasions and in the morning you might hear the beer kegs being delivered! The log burner is available for winter months (September to March) only.
