You will enjoy the entire first floor of this 200 year old farm house which has an open floor plan with a large country kitchen and a wood burning fireplace . There is a modern bathroom, a separate media room for TV, two porches and two large, air-conditioned bedrooms.. An ideal place for couples travelling in groups, we provide a clean, comfortable stay with stunning lake and vineyard views. We are dog and child friendly. Please note that the base rate listed is for TWO GUESTS. Additional guests are charged $25 per person, per night and must be disclosed when booking or any time prior to arrival. Also please be aware there is a separate, small studio apartment above the house. It has a separate entrance not visible from main entrance or porches of the house. 2 porches 3 acres around house We live down the road and are available by text 24/7 for any questions. We are on the east side of Seneca Lake, on Route 414 in the town of Hector. Located in the middle of the Seneca Lake Wine trail, we are within 5 miles of twenty wineries. We are central to Watkins Glen State Park Gorge and Watkins Glen (NASCAR) which are only a fifteen minute drive away. We are ten minutes from the Finger Lakes National Forest, with hiking, biking, and horse trails. Swimming, boating, and fishing is available at Smith Park, a five minute drive. We are 45 minutes from the towns of Corning, Geneva, Ithaca, Seneca Falls and Hammondsport NY. Potential for noise - The house is located right on State Route 414, so you may hear some road noise during your stay. Hazitt's Winery is 1/4 mile from our home, so you may hear live music events on Friday nights but these events end by 9 pm. We also have a nearby volunteer fire house. Rarely you may hear a loud siren notifying emergency responders. Also, please be aware that there is a separate, small studio apartment above the house.
