The Aspen Lodge has a loft bedroom with two twin beds. Downstairs it has a sofa, a full kitchen, and a bathroom. This apartment is located near the back of Tamarack RV Park and Vacation Cabins. There is parking for one vehicle. We offer free wifi and a smart TV. This cabin is within walking distance to Costco, Safeway, Starbucks, and Home Depot. It is only 2 1/2 miles north of downtown Coeur d'Alene and the Lake beach. The Aspen Lodge is located under tall pine trees near the back of our RV park. This studio cabin has a loft bedroom (there is a library style slide away ladder to get into the loft) with two twin beds (the bed frames are built into the cabin and do not move) and a sofa downstairs. Smart TV, and private bathroom with shower. The kitchen has basic spices and oil, complementary coffee for a day, pots, pans and dishes, a microwave, apartment-size frig, coffee maker, toaster, and stove with oven for your convenience. A wall A/C unit and central heat will keep you comfortable year round. Upstairs bed loft is accessed by a moveable ladder, with securely-mounted hand grips and track rails. Ladder base must be angled out, and placed on designated black markings on floor. Ladder can only be climbed on an angle, not straight up and down. Feel free to call or text us with any questions. Parking is limited, there is one small space adjacent to the cabins located behind the site B17. It is labeled at Aspen Parking. The main drive way directly in front of Cedar Lodge is dedicated to that cabin as well as a walk way to get to Aspen. We provide kitchen linens, bed linens and pillows, as well as bath towels. Not available to rent when the office is closed. You may rent a propane fire-ring from us for $10.75/night. This comes complete with 5 gal of propane, so you can sit outside your studio and enjoy a "camp fire." (Our insurance prevents the use of wood fires at cabins.) You may also BBQ on our propane grill at the Camper's Patio, located in the backyard of the vacation house at the front of our RV park. Travel from here to Lake Coeur d'Alene by bike or car or bus. Hike historic Tubbs Hill down by the Lake, or stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the numerous boutiques and floating boardwalk at the boat marina and Dockside restaurant at Coeur d'Alene Resort on the lake. The Aspen Lodge is located on the campus of our Tamarack RV Park. Guests have 24/7 access to our coin-op washers and dryers, as well as everything inside The Cabin. We also have extra showers and bathroom buildings located on CreekStone Lane and Stonebrook Lane. Guests also have access to the BBQ and fire pit as well as the small pond and waterfall in the Camper's Patio. Please do not ask to bring a favorite animal. It just doesn't work to mix animals, and folks with allergies, at different times in my shared space. I cannot host guests with dogs, because I have other guests, who specifically ask me for "allergen-free" rooms, i.e. no pets, no down, etc. And, unfortunately, I do not have the space for pet friendly rooms. Not available to rent when the office is closed. Propane campfire rings are available for rent outside your cabin for $10.75/night, complete with 5 gal of propane. Our insurance allows guests to enjoy propane campfires, but not wood fires, at their individual sites. This cabin is located at our Tamarack RV Park. The Aspen Lodge is located within our Tamarack RV Park, nestled among the tall pines as a comfortable home for up to two guests. Costco, Safeway, Starbucks, and Home Depot and many restaurants are walking distance (within 2 blocks) of The Hangar. Guests can enjoy Silverwood Theme Park 15 miles north, the Crystal Gold Mine 30 miles east in Kellogg, Idaho, the Hiawatha Bike Trail, or the Triple Play Fun Park and Raptor Reef right in Coeur d'Alene. Stroll along the beautiful boardwalk outside the Coeur d'Alene Resort, or play with the kids in the beach sand at the lake. The North Idaho Community Express (NICE) operates the intercity bus lines in Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene as well as throughout Kootenai County. Additionally there is also the Kootenai Area Transportation System (KATS) bus line. The buses run throughout the week, with limited service on weekends, especially on Sundays. Both bus lines offer handicap accessible vehicles and bike racks for visitors. Call Citylink Bus Routes, or call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)-RIDE for more information. Shuttle buses are available from the Washington International Airport, which is about 40-minutes drive time from Coeur d’Alene. These are available to take you to most major points around the city. Since this is a private RV Park, no pets inside The Aspen Cabin. There is one full bathroom inside our studio apartment, and more guest restrooms and showers just 100 feet away, in our Park shower building. No smoking in The Cabin or inside any building in our RV Park. For your convenience, coin-op washers and dryers are accessible 24/7 in our Park. Silverwood Theme and Water park are just 12 1/2 miles north. Triple Play Indoor Water Park is just 1 1/2 miles north. Airplane rides, boat and jet ski rentals are located on Lake Coeur d'Alene 3 miles south of us.
