Plas Canol - elegant home in Snowdonia village

Welcome to our idyllic retreat in beautiful Penmachno village, in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Our home is cosy, elegant and recently renovated. You can walk out the front door to world renowned backpacking and mountain biking trails, rivers to swim in, excellent road cycling, and a lovely friendly local pub to kick back in. We neighbour Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon), Betws-y-coed, and Llanrwst to name just a few. We are also dog friendly with easy parking! The space We would love to welcome you to Plas Canol, and hope that the fact that it's our home, not just a holiday rental, will make it even more appealing. We have put our hearts and souls into making it comfortable and intimate, and welcome guests from all corners of the globe and all walks of life! This is why you may see personal touches here and there, but also why you will hopefully feel it has loads of character. Guest access We have our own private section of the garden, but it is adjacent to our neighbours' garden and is separated by a fence. We kindly ask that you only use our section of the garden. Our neighbours own dogs and they do let them access their section of the garden, which you will have to pass through to get to our garden. The neighbours are always with their dogs if the dogs are outside, which is once or twice briefly per day. If you have your dog with you, you can let them scamper in our section of the garden, but please keep in mind the above information, and we would not recommend letting your dog use the garden at the same time as their dogs. There is a big field nearby and plenty of mountains for real running about! Each of the 3 bedrooms can sleep 2, and there is a large comfortable sofa which can be set up for a 7th person in the living room. Other things to note Please note: our neighbours own dogs and they do let them access their section of the garden, which you will have to pass through to get to our garden. The neighbours are always with their dogs if the dogs are outside, which is once or twice per day for a brief period. If you have your dog with you, you can let them scamper in our section of the garden, but please keep in mind the above information, and we would not recommend letting your dog use the garden at the same time as their dogs. There is a big field nearby and plenty of mountains for real running about! You are welcome to bring your dogs with you (we love em!), but please note there is an additional £15 cleaning surcharge for pets. Please note that this is a secluded rural village location, so if you have come for peace, tranquility and nature, you've found the perfect spot! In terms of amenities, there is a delightful, friendly pub that sells fresh eggs from a local farm, and there is a great little Londis shop just next door to use with all the essentials, including local organic milk. Many major grocery stores will deliver to our location though, such as Tesco and ASDA, and the nearby town Betws-y-coed provides more than enough amenities. Please note that we have a ground floor WC, an upstairs WC, and an upstairs bath/shower room. Airbnb's listing options don't make it possible to describe this in detail.
