Welcome to Tiny on the Hill! Nestled privately at the top of a steep* driveway, Tiny on the Hill features a wrap around deck, private sauna, small frog pond and walking/xc skiing trails through the woods out back. You’ll have everything you need to enjoy Vermont year round! Located 15 mins from Burlington and 5mins from I-89 the location makes it convenient to enjoy Burlington while keeping the skiing/hiking/mountain biking destinations within an hours drive. It’s the perfect in-between spot. The space The sauna has an electric heater, 5'x5' window overlooking the woods and frog pond. It's the perfect way to end your day. The kitchen has plenty of counter space, a three-burner gas stove, the fridge is big enough to stash food for two, easily. It is fully stocked with spices and oils so don't feel the need to pack the kitchen sink with you! The bathroom has a closet for luggage storage and has hangers for your clothes along with two drawers. There is a composting toilet in addition to a shower that is comfortable for one. The stairs getting to the loft are steep and tight (it is a tiny house after all) - there's a railing and the wall for support. This should be something to consider if you think you won't be comfortable on a different style of stairs. If you come during months that allow for outside time, there is a wrap around porch, couch, table/bar and a grill to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The property is pet friendly (pet fee applied at time of booking) but there is no fenced in area so please be respectful of keeping your pet on the property and away from the neighbors. Working remotely? There is one spot that makes working from home great. The house is located at the top of a steep driveway and in the winter AWD, snow tires and knowledge of how to drive in the snow are encouraged. If you don’t mind a very short walk, there is parking at the bottom and the walk up is 1min. Guest access You will have the entire house, sauna and yard to yourself during your stay. Please keep pets from going down the hill to the neighbors houses if you brought a furry friend with you.
