Casa Santana at Garden Grove Surf

Relax in a cheerful, tranquil and private casita or private room located on Playa Jiquilite between Magnific Rock and Rancho Santana. Just minutes walking to surf breaks and yoga classes. There are many dining and bar options within walking distance or just chill at your new home away from home and make your own! Many of the restaurants feature pools you can use as long as you purchase drinks or meals from them occasionally. Motorcycle rentals are available off property. The space Digital Nomad wonderland! Garden Grove has excellent WiFi and is ideal for individuals that work remotely or online. We have limited battery back up so it is highly recommended to bring an unlocked smart phone which allows you to purchase and use a Nicaraguan SIM card (Tigo) and buy 2 week data plans ( approximately $6) to create your own mobile hot spot in the event of a power outage. Other things to note We receive many deliveries weekly of meats, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, gourmet salad greens, bread from the bakery in town, beer and more. Surf lessons available, private or group. Guided surf tour and boat trips are also available. Pro Tips- -Buy Flor de Caña 5 year rum instead of the 7 year, the 5 is equally as good as the 7 ( which we jokingly call Tourist Rum) and is almost half the price! -Bring cash because the bank is not close to our area. USD $5, $10 and $20 are preferred but $50’s & $100’s are accepted at some places, but not all. Old, torn or otherwise damaged bills are not accepted. Cordobas are obviously accepted every where. Credit cards are not widely accepted but there are some places that accept them. -Use Yasmil Transportation for all your taxi needs, including getting here, shopping on the way and day trips Whatsapp +505 8673 4936. Please don’t forget to tip your driver, he is worth it!
