Wake to the sound of waves crashing the shore, sunbathe in loungers, dine while the sun glistens on the water, star gaze from the hot tub or sit by a lakeside fire (firewood provided). Endless options w/out leaving this beautiful space. The space We offer accommodations for 4 (well acquainted) adults (the sleeping arrangements include a pull out queen sofa bed and there is only 1 bathroom). Suited for entertaining, The Kiss n Tell is ideal for guests coming to the Essex County area and hoping to reconnect with family and friends in a beautiful spot. High end finishes will not disappoint!! The cottage consists of a primary bedroom with queen sized bed and lake views from huge windows, a comfy conversation area with dining for 4 overlooking the lake, a stunning kitchen with island seating for 4 (and complimentaries galore), a (Smart) TV area with pull out queen sized sofabed (more lake views) and a stylish bathroom with shower. The outdoor space offers a huge deck off the front of the cottage with breathtaking views of Lake Erie. Comfortable conversation seating, dining area, small (2-4 man) hot tub, separate sun deck with hammock and lounge chairs, fire pit area with Adirondacks, and cast iron bbq are amongst the amenities that complete this spectacular property. 2 cottage cruiser bikes allow for visiting the many local wineries, restaurants, produce stands, etc. (If you require more bikes, please ask us). 2 new SUP (Stand up paddle boards - inflatable) are also provided for your enjoyment. Launch these at Colchester Beach (a 10 min walk away) or one of the other nearby beaches (life jackets provided). Please note: This property is NOT suitable for children due to its very close proximity to the edge of the bluff (sorry, no exceptions). Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire cottage, including the sun deck along the water, where the hammock and lounge chairs are located. Two beach cruiser bikes are provided (please ask us if you require more. We may have them available!). There are 2 inflatable paddle boards (with life jackets provided) for your use. Other things to note Clearly, the edge of the bluff is in CLOSE proximity to the cottage. We ask that you not walk on the bluff side of the deck and that you practise safety at all times. This small cottage community is quiet (no noise after 11 pm). The 10 km/hr speed limit is to be strictly adhered to PLEASE as there are children, golf carts, and people walking at all times of the day. The hot tub is small (best suited for 2; will accommodate 4). Please use it with consideration (no suntan oil, sand, dirty feet, etc). Life jackets (provided) are to be worn at all times when using paddle boards. Recommended launch area : Colchester Beach or other local beaches where the lake is calm; please exercise caution in the lake, even in beach areas, where waters can still become rough and dangerous at times. Bike helmets are not provided. There is a bike path on both sides of the road accessing the many local wineries. If you bring a dog, please keep it leashed at all times and be kind enough to ALWAYS pick up after it. Please extinguish fires at night and when leaving the cottage.
