Stylish Timber Lodge set within 0.75 acre garden

Welcome to 'Pumps Lodge' Built in 2018 and finished to a high standard this pretty timber cabin is set in a private spot within the gardens of our home in Denbury Devon. Inside there is a nice size living area including a kitchen. One bedroom with comfortable twin beds a shower room and a loft room with a low king size bed. (Limited head height). Everything is provided for a comfortable stay including towels bed linen and a welcome pack containing a few things to get you going The space The lodge will accommodate four adults. Up to two small dogs would be welcome too. We have a Whippet called Pip who is aged 7. He is very friendly! The mezzanine level is accessed by a ladder so this area may not be suitable for young children or persons with mobility issues. Maximum head height in the middle is 175cm or 5’8 in old money. It is very relaxing up there and you will fall asleep watching the stars through the velux windows above the bed-very romantic... On the ground floor there is a cosy bedroom with two single beds which can be pushed together if required. There is a fitted wardrobe with a hanging rail and shelving. The Kitchen area has an electric cooker with double oven hob and extractor fan. Fridge with a small freezer compartment. We provide everything you might need to cook with including pots pans and other kitchen utensils. Cups plates bowls kettle and toaster. The shower room has an enclosed cubicle with a pumped shower which provides excellent pressure! The living area has wide opening french doors looking over the veranda onto the gardens. Sit with them open and bring the outside in! There is a large leather sofa coffee table and a small drop leaf table with four folding chairs. Built in 2018 the Lodge is insulated to current building standards and is heated by wall mounted electric heaters so you can set your desired temperature. It is very warm and cosy throughout the autumn and winter months! It also remains cool in the summer too. Guest access The Lodge stands within it’s own 0.75 acre garden. We encourage our guests to make the most of this space as it is perfect for kicking a ball about or lying out in the sunshine (please book sunshine in advance) There is a picnic bench and other various seats including the popular hammock on the veranda to chill out in. Other things to note There is one parking space for your use. If would like to bring another vehicle please let us know in advance so we can make space!
