Holiday home in Sifnos - annex (studio)

This is an independent space outside an isolated holiday home offering extreme privacy, in a quiet setting of stunning natural beauty, while also being within walking distance from the popular beach of Platys Gialos with shops, restaurants & bars, and a marina dock for private yachts. The house is on a 14 acre slope of private land on the sea, with 150 pistachio trees. It offers spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and the famous monastery of Chryssopigi. The space Sifnos is a gem of natural beauty and traditional architecture as the whole island, and not just specific places or buildings, are protected by law, as a region of outstanding natural beauty. You can make the most of it through a network of trails (sifnostrailscom). Sifnos has a long tradition in Ceramics, and still has many pottery workshops. It is also famous for its’ gastronomic delights. The annex is an independent space with its’ own private entrance, outside the main house. It is 4-5 steps below ground level, on a slope, so it has a view to the outside areas and the sea. It includes a small en suite private bathroom, a kitchen sink, a small oven, a cooking surface with two hobs, a refrigerator and an expandable wooden table, as well as a 43'' SONY TV (Android TV). It has an elevated double mattress and a sofa bed with two extra single mattresses, as well as a single bed. It is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan. WiFi connectivity and laptop-friendly workspaces are a priority for us, allowing our guests to work from home. Internet speed according to our phone bill is up to 50Mbps, but due to limitations all over the island the actual average speed is at least 21Mbps, which is a solid WiFi speed allowing HD video streaming, as well as seamless teleconferencing, which we do extensively. There are at least two WiFi networks on two routers (one in the main house and one in the annex), plus various extensions, securing a reliable WiFi anytime and everywhere in and around the house.For the outdoor areas there are fixed as well as portable tables. Guest access Guests staying in the annex have got access to the exterior spaces in front of the annex, including a small table under the shadow of a tree, all with a magnificent sea view. When the main house is not rented out as a unit but as separate bedrooms, which is nearly always the case, guests staying in the annex have access to all indoor and outdoor communal spaces and facilities, such as washing machine, kitchen complete with dishwasher, dining area, office, lounge etc.. The outdoors areas guests will have access to only when the house is rented out as separate rooms (which is nearly always the case) 3. The indoors communal areas guests will have access to only when the house is rented out as separate rooms (which is nearly always the case) – kitchen, dining area, lounge, fireplace – office, and usually also basement with table tennis. Other things to note In February, May, October and late August 2026, I shall need a confirmation from a co-owner before accepting any booking request.
