Centrally located to all the summer activities and lakes the mountain has to offer, this classic cabin retreat offers all of the magic found in Aframe living. Enjoy crisp mountain air and a tree lined view through multiple sliding doors and cozy up by the wood burning stove on a chilly day. Enjoy the large, gated yard with fire pit, seating area and HOT TUB. The perfect getaway. The space This cabin has been completely remodeled while maintaining original details from the 1960s. Beautiful open living spaces highlights the unique beauty of AFrame life. Off of the main living area is a deck with grill, seating and sunset views. Complete with a heater the deck can be enjoyed all year long. Kitchen is equipped with everything to cook and includes a dishwasher and many useful small appliances like a hand mixer, French press, electric kettle, and coffee grinder. You will find everything you need to cook a wonderful meal; full set of pots/pans, utensils, microplane and more. On the first floor there is also a bathroom with tub/shower and a quiet, private bedroom. An open loft with picturesque mountain views offers a reading/work nook and cozy bedroom space with a recently updated bed. There is ample space upstairs to enjoy yoga with a view, read a book or work. Please note the loft is OPEN and there is no door to enter the loft or sleeping area. The yard is private and totally gated. HOT TUB is located in a secluded corner of the property. In addition to the deck there is a seating area in the yard with a fire pit. Nice area to fish and swim) • Lake Arrowhead (20 min drive) • Lake Gregory (20 min drive) Fishing and amazing summertime activties • Big Bear Lake (20 min drive) • Hiking - There are many wonderful hiking trails including favorites such as, Children's Forest/ Exploration trail, Keller's Peak, The Narrows in Running Springs, & Aztec Falls. Guest access The entire cabin and fully fenced yard are for your use. There are 2-3 parking spaces (depending on car size) at the front of the property. There is no street parking allowed. Other things to note • This is a private family cabin that is used by the hosts on a regular basis throughout the year. • The county mandated capacity of the cabin is four people (adults and children), there are no exceptions to this capacity, • This property is entirely smoke free, smoking of any kind is not allowed on the premises. • This a pet free rental. Failure to comply will result in fees. •There are two cameras located on the property for everyone's safety. One on the front porch and one pointed into the backyard (not near the hot tub) • Heat is provided via radiant heater and available in all rooms. • Cooling is provided via wall units, one on each level as well as a ceiling fan in the loft. • Firewood is not provided by the hosts. Duraflame or other similar products may NOT be used. Propane for the grill and fire pit is provided. • This is a quiet neighborhood with some full time residents. We request guests be courteous of others while outside. • Winter travel - Please check the weather prior to your trip, chains or all wheel drive vehicles are sometimes required.
