Charming 2-bed/bath cabin with character for days

A beautiful, authentic, Colorado mountain escape, located 1-hour from Denver. This charming, 2-bed, 2-bath, 100-year-old cabin boasts history and beauty. It's located in Pine, only a stone's throw away from Staunton State Park, Buffalo Creek, and Pine Valley Open Space. This is the perfect retreat for adventure, relaxation, rest, and peace. The space It's not perfect, but for the right folks, it's paradise. There are two decks to enjoy the outdoors, and the indoor space is perfect for lounging and relaxation. This is not a corporate owned space. I am the sole proprietor. It is lived in part-time and rented out on the weekends to share the beauty of how cabins felt growing up in Colorado. I do my best to accommodate individual guest needs and update the space as much as possible. As a writer and musician myself, I spend hours at the desk in front of the window looking out at the pines. With a few instruments and some art supplies, this cabin is a perfect place to tap into your creative side! Guest access The guests are welcome to use the entire space. This includes the entire cabin, as well as the fenced in yard. I live in the cabin part-time, when not hosting, so one closet in the master bed, and one closet in the guest bed are locked and marked "private." Other things to note If you love historical buildings and seek adventure, rest and retreat, this cabin is for you. In contrast, if you are looking for modern builds, this cabin will leave you wanting more. As we say in the mountains, "If you have a champagne taste on a beer budget, you're gonna be disappointed." Arriving in winter? Be prepared for the Rockies! There will be snow and ice, so 4WD and warm clothes are highly recommended. With all areas in the town of Pine, cell service becomes very spotty once you leave highway 285. CLEANING FEES: It takes me 2.5 to 3.5 hours to clean and disinfect between guests as long as the cabin is left in good shape and the closeout rules are followed. This breaks down to around $25 per hour for my "cleaning crew."
