Modern & Chic Heritage House @ Georgetown

This Chic stylish place is located in the heart of Penang Heritage Georgetown, it is very convenient to all the historical heritage areas, local’s best hocker food stalls, restaurants, cafes , street art , Komtar shopping mall and more! A 10 mins walk to the ferry jetty and 15mins drive to Gurney or 25mins to Batu Ferringi. This is also a pets friendly place for pets lover, guests are allowed to bring their pets to stay with additional charges of RM10 only per pet for the entire stays. The space This is a heritage building of 120 years with a built of 2000sf on the ground floor and 1000sf on the 1st floor, there is a charming cosy courtyard in the middle of the building with greens to relax. The entire building was completely destroyed and it was refurbished by Daniel the artist to make it as his photography studio and a place for the artists and his guests to relax. On the 1st floor there is a huge 800sf PRIVATE guests room(this is the only HUGE room in the entire building, there will be no other guests sharing in this house), a room filled with book shelves, Apple computer, printer, scanner and a mini gym and a little balcony at the courtyard. (This is Daniel’s little office just in case if you need to use printer, computer or gym you may inform the butler). On the ground floor there is a cosy living room at the front entrance with a flash of sunlight coming in from the courtyard , followed by a high ceiling courtyard all the way up to the roof top hanging down a gigantic stag horn as a tropical chandelier, the courtyard is also a place for pets friendly guests to leave their pets there otherwise Daniel’s 2 pets ( Ibizan hound and papillon ) will be resting there. ( for the Muslim friends don’t worry too much because they will be leashed and well trained for taking care of the house as guard dogs ) The dining area will be in the middle part of the building and also the kitchen and laundry are at the back of the building. The whole entire building is only 1 huge room on the 1st floor which can be stayed up to 4 pax with 1 queen bed And 1 queen size sofa bed with an open concept bathtub room temperature water for shower only. For family that is more than 4 pax you may request for extras single mattresses. For the guest who need privacy in their shower (because the bath tub in the room is “open concept” ) we do have another shower room downstairs with a water heater. The price that shows on the booking is for 1 PAX ONLY, if you come with 2 pax or more the extra of each pax has to pay RM49 ONLY per night and it comes with clean towels and pillows. Guest access This premise comes with a butler to taking care of the guest’s need or any emergency power rundown. Daniel won’t be living in the house except during the day he will be passing by to visit his dogs. Other things to note This is a heritage house , if you have not lived in a heritage house before so this is the good chance to experience it. There are steps to live in this heritage house but it is very comfortable and relax to stay in.
