Located on a 200 acre working Farm, our hut is furnished to the highest standard . In a secluded corner of a field, with no other guests around you, just uninterrupted views of the fields, Aconbury Woods and the sound of the wildlife . If you are looking for total relaxation or a romantic stay, then this unique accommodation will not disappoint. Sit in the hut tub under the wooden gazebo and enjoy a glass of complimentary prosecco included in your stay. The space Situated in a field of its own on our 200 acre farm, with private hot tub, the shepherds hut sleeps 2 adults, but you are welcome to bring a tent for additional family members. You’ll be toasty and warm as the hut is fully insulated and contains a wood-burning stove with a free supply of logs throughout your stay. A constant supply of mains water and electric is available in the hut. A sink and 2 hob electric stove are provided along with a large fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. All linen is provided for our incredibly comfortable double bed. Towels are also provided. The hut is fully equipped with all cutlery. crockery and cooking utensils Outside the Shepherds hut there is a seating area looking out onto fields beyond, with two chairs and a table where you can relax, eat, read a book, play a game or just admire the view. A firepit and a barbeque is also provided with barbeque utensils. In the evenings you can enjoy the magic of star gazing with no street lights to spoil the experience. Surrounding the shepherds hut, chestnut fencing creates a secure private area which is safe for both children and well behaved dogs to enjoy and explore. A gravel path takes you to two dedicated parking spaces. Adjacent to the shepherds hut is a newly built quirky shepherds hut style shower room containing wash hand basin, toilet, shower and heated towel rail. . The shower room is supplied with toilet roll and hand soap . Next to this is a summerhouse which provides extra space for muddy boots and contains extra logs and the barbeque and fire pit and large fridge. There are several dog friendly local pubs and restaurants nearby or If you don't fancy venturing anywhere there are several takeaway restaurants that will deliver to the hut!! We are ideally situated for exploring the area, we combine the tranquillity and peacefulness of the countryside but are only a few minutes drive from the A49 leading to Hereford, the Wye Valley, Ross On Wye. the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, the Malverns, Hay on Wye,, Symonds Yat and the Cotswolds. There are several historic market towns to visit within easy reach. There are numerous footpaths and bridleways which you can link into directly from the farm, enabling you to explore the area and take in the wonderful wildlife and countryside this part of Herefordshire has to offer. If you are a keen cyclist there are numerous country lanes to explore. There are plenty of adventure activities for all of the family within easy reach including horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, and gorge walking. Guest access Guests have 200 acres in which to roam freely. The area surrounding the hut is completely dog secure.
