Check out the biergartens in Walburg and restaurants, bars and shopping on the beautiful Georgetown square. Easy access to I35 & 130 toll. The space This is our main residence that we are happy to share when we are out of town visiting our kids and grandkids! We love it and know you will love it too! This house sits on acreage with no immediate neighbors, and makes a great home base for day trips to the Austin area, hill country wineries, and Waco. The house features include: * Plenty of parking to accommodate cars, trailers and boats * Wood fireplace in the main living area * Full kitchen with appliances, pots and pans * Fire pit (firewood available on request) *Charcoal grill *Access to garden and seasonal vegetables *Large deck, outdoor seating, bar, and beverage fridge * Smart TV's in living room, back deck, main bedroom, and 2nd bedroom * 2 King size beds, one queen bed, and a triple bunk * Full size washer and dryer * 2 miles from Walburg German Restaurant and Biergarten and Dales Essenhaus (Both have outdoor picnic tables and live music) * Property located on a popular cycling route * Indoor and outdoor games and toys available for guests * Crib available upon request Provided amenities on site include: eggs, coffee, coffee filters, trash bags, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hairdryer Guest access Guests will self check in and have access to the entire home, with the exception of two owner closets and the garage storage buildings. We require a 2-night minimum stay and 7 days advanced notice. Guests may use the area around the house as well as the goat field and woods next to the garden. (Just be sure to keep the gate closed so the goats don't get out) Other things to note Interested in getting your own chickens or goats or just want to enjoy a visit without the commitment? This is the perfect place for you! The chickens are free range and will return to their coop in the evenings. Feel free to feed them the packaged worms and scratch and gather the eggs for breakfast! The laying box is located on the back side of the chicken coop. The door unlatches and lifts up. The goats also enjoy snacks! Please only give them the prepackaged feed provided. The cats are friendly barn cats, but they do not want to be held.
