Rural home - minutes from I-70/K-10. Master on main w/full bath. 3 bedrooms UPstairs w/ a full bath. Half bath near deck/pool. Open concept kitchen/dining/living with gourmet kitchen. 2 sinks, induction burners , 2 D/W & 2 ovens. Deck/pool seasonal. .25 mile on gravel AND UP HILL driveway. We strongly encourage a 4WD vehicle in inclement weather. We are on gravel with a number of houses visible to from the road. However, ours sits back off the road and has a secluded feeling. With the K-10 by-pass-I-70 interchange a mile away, it is easy to get to during trips through KS. A 7 min run to town for groceries and/or west side restaurants. We started the fixer upper project with an addition and have remodeled the kitchen, added on a deck, started landscaping and have a variety of projects on a list We have outdoor cats and chickens and lovely views of the stars. All of the home is available to you. We do live here, so we request that you respect our privacy in our closets, etc. You may use ingredients you find in the kitchen. Just let us know if you use a large amount of anything. The basement is NOT child friendly but does have work out options, including a treadmill, elliptical/bike combo, and weights/bench. Usually at least one car can use a spot in the attached garage, which is entered from the west side of the house (circle around from the driveway). The unfinished man cave (up stairs by the laundry room) is best enjoyed with shoes ON. BTW, You are welcome to use the laundry facilities. Whole home rentals we request you start a load of towels before you leave and turn down the beds you used so we can clearly tell which beds were slept in.... We will generally be at a nearby property or at a farm property in MO. We are available via AirBNB app, texting, and phone call. If we are available, we are happy to check you in in- person. Otherwise, we may have keypad check-in. Please note, in 2021, we have started a produce farm on adjacent property and may need to access water spigots at the house depending on the weather/season. Just a few minutes from the Lecompton/I-70 exchange. Rural neighbors but not too close. 13 acre property. Garden, chickens and cats on the property. Just minutes to 40 HWY aka 6th St. in Lawrence for restaurants, grocery stores, and west Lawrence businesses. You will want a car to go into downtown. You can bike the few miles to Rock Chalk Park/Lawrence Sports Pavillion. The pools has a cover on it when it is closed for the season. Generally October-April.
