The space In the heart of the Breton countryside we are surrounded by rolling hills, farms and forests. Our luxurious lodge offers the perfect retreat in which to recharge. We cater to a max of only four guests, in two private bedrooms with private bathrooms. Your stay with us includes a breakfast of your choice. We also offer lunch and dinner on request. Including an evening's fine dining experience with with great wines, liquors and cocktails. Our lodge boasts an outdoor pizza oven, bbq and tandoori oven for those times you simply don't want to travel for dinner. All meals are prepared and served by us, your hosts, allowing you time to relax. We have a superb cinema with 2.5 metre screen, Dolby surround sound and truly massive film library. Also a games room with pool table, gin bar and vintage vinyl collection. We have open fires both indoors and outside. For those summer afternoons we have a private, ten metre pool surrounded by gardens. For early morning sunrises, all the way through to star gazing into our light pollution free skies, there is our secluded hot tub, showcasing our greatest asset, the stunning views. Guest access The tranquillity we offer means we are 'off the beaten track', as such arriving by car is easiest. (We do have ample parking.) For guests not wishing to drive, we can organise picking you up from the nearest TGV station at Guingamp, which has direct services to Paris. We are also able to organise collection (and return) to the ferry ports at both Roscoff and St. Malo as well as the airports at Brest and Nantes. (Please message us for details.) During your stay Our lodge is exclusive to offer the best possible service we shall be on site throughout your stay to host you in the most appropriate manner. Privacy and space will always be available. Should you choose to dine with us, it can be an intimate, private affair or you may choose to join us for a more social evening. Other things to note Central Brittany is a stunning place to visit. There are numerous B&B's and Gites on offer but few hotels with quality restaurants. There are those who would love to enjoy the peace and tranquillity found here but don't necessarily want to spend holiday time shopping for food, cooking in unfamiliar kitchenettes or packing half their house in to a large SUV or roof box to go somewhere to relax. Of course there are restaurants dotted throughout the villages, some very good but most will be a drive away from your accommodation and taxi services are ... well they aren't. We offer what we believe is a rather unique package. Locarn Lodge is a fully hosted experience into which you can retreat and truly 'kick-back' and relax. You don't need to pack the 'kitchen sink', simply throw a few clothes into a bag and go. We boast great food in an idyllic location. We can guarantee interesting conversation (should you wish to partake) whilst sipping malt whisky around an open fire. Naturally there is also plenty to see in the surrounding towns and villages, should you wish to explore.
