The flat (120 sqm) is in an old building (around 1920) and was completely renovated 15 years ago. I live on the 4th floor and the rooms have sloping ceilings. The balcony faces a courtyard that is covered by trees from spring to autumn: you look at green or colourful leaves. Each of the rooms is lockable (!) - so your belongings are well protected even when you are not there. The space The rooms are part of a very bright and friendly furnished 6 room flat, there is a balcony overlooking a large courtyard and views of the southern quarter of Essen. The bed is 105 cm wide and 220 cm long, ideal for a large person. A printer can be used if required. The tram has a stop in front of the house, the main station can be reached by tram in 10 minutes. Culture: several good and well-known museums (Folkwang, Soul of Africa); - Opera and Philharmonic are about 15 minutes walk away;- Bicycles can be rented in front of the door. Many options in the immediate vicinity (cinemas, theatres, Grugapark and Therme, trade fair, university hospital); all accessible by tram or on footNearby. 5 minutes walk away is a very good shopping district with many restaurants in different price ranges (both fast food and a star restaurant) Guest access Wi-Fi. During your stay I live there - and am usually present and happy to answer questions or have a cup of tea or coffee (sometimes a glass of wine or a bottle of beer in the evening) together.
