"The Wine Cellar" private studio in Murphys

Just one mile from downtown Murphys and centrally located for any number of day trips, this guest suite is the perfect getaway. Murphys offers 25+ wine tasting rooms downtown alone, and the following attractions right at you fingertips: giant sequoias (the largest living organisms on the planet!), hiking, fishing, caving, skiing, lakes, rivers, historic goldrush towns, and so much more. Our charming and safe neighborhood offers ample street parking and we have free wifi! The space Our guest studio features a brand new, memory foam queen bed, sitting area for reading or planning your day over a cup of coffee, fully furnished kitchenette, private bathroom with custom shower (no tub) and private entry. There are stools at the kitchen counter so it can be used as a small table or workspace. We provide complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate guest parking in our driveway, however street parking is free and ample. Guests with mobility issues should be aware that the driveway is short but steep, and the path leading to the door is gravel and flagstone, please practice caution. We live full-time in the main house attached to the studio. Although we do our very best to tiptoe, you may hear ambient household noises. We do provide earplugs in your room. Although they do not have access to your space, we do have dogs who may potentially bark at you through the fence, so let us know if this is an issue. The room has its own brand new mini-split to keep you comfortable at the temperature of your choice. Guest access In order to account for our neighbors and mail/trash services, we request that you park on the opposite side of the street as our driveway. You can either turn around in the driveway, or go around the block the long way. If you have an extra large vehicle or a trailer, etc., we recommend going around the block the long way. Other things to note We encourage guests to peruse the binder in your room to get to know the space and troubleshoot any issues.
