Daisy Cottage and Secret Courtyard Garden

Daisy Cottage is perfect for couples or individuals looking for tranquillity and a place to get away from it all to relax. Set in beautiful countryside but only a 90 second drive away from the vibrant village of Haworth. Daisy Cottage is the perfect blend of cosy indoor comfort with a beautiful, private courtyard garden making this Airbnb very special. Wildlife is all around so you may see Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Bats, deer, with Kingfisher and Dipper on the river only a short walk away. The space Daisy Cottage was part of a farm built around 1816 by Joseph Greenwood the local mill owner in the Springhead hamlet. Joseph lived in the manor house next door and his own daughters were good friends with the Bronte sisters. Our tiny cottage is clean and modern with everything you need for a short stay including full cooking facilities including, oven and hob, fridge, toaster, kettle etc. The shower room has a powerful rain-head shower and the cottage has full central heating so its always cosy. And of course there's wifi and a smart TV. Outside there's a beautiful private, courtyard garden with plenty of seating, a BBQ and firepit for your sole use (bring your own logs and charcoal). It's the perfect space to end a busy day with a drink or two and dine alfresco or to enjoy your morning coffee with the papers. Haworth has lots of pubs, restaurants and independent shops and the famous Bronte Parsonage Museum, a must for literary fans. The huge network of footpaths and bridleways make Daisy Cottage an excellent base for walking and cycling as long as you like hills. Guest access All of Daisy Cottage is yours to enjoy including the courtyard garden. Parking is off-road and FREE. Other things to note There's a shared driveway that needs to be kept clear for our neighbours, always park your vehicle in the allotted space in the paddock. Only one guest vehicle is permitted on the property. Smoking and vaping is not permitted inside Daisy Cottage. Fine in the garden of course. No naked flames or candles inside the cottage please. Sorry, no pets.
