En Suite Room With Private Entrance on Half-Acre of Farmland
Wake up to the gentle sounds of songbirds, looking out through the bedroom window onto a peaceful, rustic backyard. This clean and relaxed guest space features refinished hardwood floors, newly-remodeled amenities and professional interior design. Yardgames and firepit too! (Note: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken additional measures to keep the guest area as self-contained as possible. Hosts will not enter the guest space unless requested otherwise by guests, for cleaning services or maintenance. For bookings of 4+ nights, laundry facilities will need to be shared. Thank you!) The spacious backyard, with a gas firepit, are available for guests to enjoy, in addition to their completely private en suite bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. Private kitchenette, laundry room (shared during stays of 5+ nights), private bedroom and bathroom. We offer a social and welcoming atmosphere, while also respecting your need for privacy and quiet. Rediscover the joys of nature, with a huge iris farm one one block away, a community sweat lodge next door, and a greenbelt trail linking to biking and jogging paths within a short walk. Downtown is a 20-minute drive, and Highway 285, gateway to the Rockies, is only 5 minutes away. A 5-minute drive connects you to the city lightrail system, taking you downtown and to the airport. Downtown Denver is 20 minutes away. A greenbelt trail is a 10-minute walk from the house, and links to a vast walking and bicycle trail system, from downtown to the mountains. Highway 285 is a 5-minute drive, which has endless possibilities for mountain drives. Your hosts are available 24/7 to provide you with anything you may need. Feel free to ask hosts for assistance by using the AirBnb app or by asking in person. We have central heat and air conditioning, so just let us know if you would like your room warmer or cooler. We tend to be early risers--the dog and the chickens need our attention between 6am and 7am. We will be in other parts of the house and the yard to exercise the pets and to make breakfast. Sorry for any disturbance--we will be as quiet as possible if you are still in bed. We recently adopted a greyhound dog who is shy around new people. We are asking guests to please not interact with him or to pet him without the permission of a host. He is being kept in a separate part of the house away from guest quarters. We also have a rooster with an unpredictable and sometimes territorial disposition—we ask that guests please not initially interact with him without a host present. Thank you and enjoy your stay!
