The Bee Hive

A modernized cozy 300+ sq ft geodesic dome and fire pit nestled into the picturesque landscape of Wild Haven Animal Sanctuary. The space Wild Haven is a farm sanctuary and eco campground where we strive to live in harmony with the wildlife around us, while also providing select modern comforts to our guests. This dome features a 3-piece ensuite washroom with shower, mini fridge, plugs for charging, a fan, private outdoor fire pit, shared BBQ and small kitchenette, and lounge chairs to provide the guest with everything they need to relax and recharge. Please keep in mind that, though modernized, these are still glamping tents and bugs are sometimes able to get in. The Bee Hive does feature an air conditioning unit, but it is only intended to cool down the dome in the morning and evening and is not intended to keep the dome cool during the heat of the day. We encourage you to explore the beautiful surroundings before settling in for the evening. The Bee Hive is on a full septic system, but it is sensitive, so please be mindful and considerate. This dome features an ECO COLD WATER SHOWER. We do not provide WiFi in the domes, as we encourage guests to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with the simpler things. We do understand that you may be travelling or need to check up on loved ones, so there is WiFi provided in a common area by the barn. We are pet friendly, however dogs are not permitted to be left unattended inside the dome. There is a strict mandatory leash rule whenever they are outside, for their protection from wildlife, as well as for the safety and security of our free range rescue Roosters and barn cats. As an animal sanctuary, the welfare of our rescues is our first priority and there is a zero tolerance policy in regards to their well-being. Guests will be asked to leave without warning if found violating our animal interaction and dog leash policies. Guest access Guests are free to roam the property and explore what we have to offer, from seeing the rescued farm animals, relaxing, and checking out our wooded areas. We do kindly ask that you respect the property, observe our house rules and explore safely! Other things to note SHOWER IS ECO SHOWER WITH NO HOT WATER 💦 You are responsible for bringing your own firewood to have a campfire and be aware that Fires will only be allowed only as per the current Provincial fire restrictions.
